September 2022 Meeting Recap
Thanks to everyone who attended last week’s meeting on September 27th. It was held at Thaddeus Stevens’ new transportation center, which is located just off Greenfield Road in Lancaster. It is a beautiful facility if you get a chance to check it out! We had a great breakfast, could take a tour of the facility, received info on PA Free Enterprise Week, and heard about the extensive programs available to all of us through the Byrnes Health Center. Fun Fact: Byrnes is the only preventative health care education provider in the state that offers K-12 programs that meet both PA standards and National Health Education Standards!
We also received a generous gift from Thaddeus Stevens President, Pedro Rivera. At the conclusion of his remarks to us, he offered to pay this year’s dues for all members in attendance! For attendees who had their dues paid at the meeting, please remember to complete the membership form so we have your information (link above)!
